Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is planning a January move to bring Swansea forward Michu to the Emirates stadium.
According to SportsDirect News, the Gunners manager is keen on finding a suitable striker who could provide competition to first-choice centre-forward Olivier Giroud during the second half of the season, having seen the French International handle all the burden upfront for the Gunners following injuries to the likes of Lukas Podolski and Yaya Sanogo.
Spanish star Michu has been linked with a switch to the Gunners since the summer, and the report claims that Wenger will make a reasonable transfer offer to lure the player to North London in January.
The former Rayo Vallecano man recently made his comeback to the first-team, having recovered from an injury.
