Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will reportedly make a move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas in the current transfer window, according to The Metro.
The Los Blancos shot-stopper is believed to be considering his future at the Bernabeu this summer, having failed to feature for the club in the La Liga last season.
Recent reports have revealed that the Madrid giants are closing in on the services of Costa Rican star Keylor Navas, and this could tempt Casillas to ask for the termination of the contract with the European champions.
The Metro claims that the Gunners boss has promised the veteran Spaniard with a move to the Emirates if he does become a free-agent.
