Arsenal are understood to have sealed a deal with Napoli to sign Chilean striker Eduardo Vargas on a season-long loan.
The Gunners have been active in the transfer market, and have already acquired the services of Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers this summer.
According to South American news daily La Tercera, Vargas is set to join the North London club on a temporary basis, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on providing sufficient competition to Olivier Giroud and Yaya Sanogo for the striker's role.
The 24-year-old, along with Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez helped Chile reach the quarter final stage of the World Cup in Brazil.
