Origi set to Lille stay

Liverpool pull out of Divock Origi deal

19 January 2015 - 11:19

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly decided against recalling Belgian striker Divock Origi from his season-long loan at Lille.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • The Belgian youngster joined the Reds from Lille over the summer, and was loaned back to the Ligue 1 outfit for the whole season.

Recent reports revealed that Rodgers could be forced to bring back the talented striker to the club, given the lack of form from the likes of Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert.

However, the Merseyside outfit have pulled out of the deal as they are confident of Daniel Sturridge's return from injury in the next couple of weeks.
