Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal will reportedly lodge a formal offer for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils over the summer after he broke into the England side with a 31-goal season for Spurs.
Kane has since then struggled to find the net on a regular basis, but his effort upfront has impressed the Dutch manager.
According to Middle East broadcaster beIN, Van Gaal will look to add more firepower next season by adding Harry Kane to his formidable striking pair of Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney.
Kane has however, been impressive on the national stage this term, having netted three goals in six games for England.
