Marc Bartra to leave Barcelona

Bartra targets Spurs move

Marc Bartra to leave Barcelona

11 March 2016 - 07:18

Barcelona will reportedly listen to offers for Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur target Marc Bartra. The 25-year-old has had a frustrating season at Camp Nou with first-team chances hard to come by.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • The Spain international had been linked with a potential switch to the Premier League last summer but he opted to stay put at the Catalan giants. Since then, he has played a bit-part role in the starting setup with manager Luis Enrique favouring the likes of Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique and Thomas Vermaelen ahead of him in the pecking order.

A report from The Sun claims that the European champions will look to offload their youth product this summer with interest high from several European clubs.

It is added that the 25-year-old is eager to link up with Tottenham Hotspur despite strong interest from Louis van Gaal's Manchester United.

Bartra made his 100th appearance for the Catalan giants as they trumped Eibar by a 4-0 scoreline in La Liga over the weekend.
