Swansea City will reportedly make a summer approach for West Bromwich Albion defender James Chester. The Wales international joined the Baggies from Hull City last summer with a view to earning a regular role in the first-team.
However, he has since then struggled to attain sufficient playing time with manager Tony Pulis favouring the likes of Gareth McAuley and Jonas Olsson for the central defensive partnership.
According to The Mail, the Swans are ready to make a &pound5m bid for the 27-year-old as they seek to end his nightmare run at the Hawthorns.
Chester has made just eight league appearances for the Baggies this term.
