Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is apparently monitoring the situation of Cesc Fabregas ahead of a potential move for his services this summer. The Special One was in-charge of the Blues when the Spaniard was brought in from Barcelona in 2014.
Fabregas has since been a key player for the West London giants contributing to their league success during the 2014/15 campaign.
However, his future has been put up in the air with the appointment of Antonio Conte who is in favour of a more robust midfielder in his ranks.
The Mirror says United could jump at the chance of landing the former Arsenal skipper, should he find himself surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
Fabregas is likely to know of his situation in the coming weeks with the Blues hot on the trail of N'Golo Kante and Radja Nainggolan.
Mourinho has made a statement in this summer's transfer window having recruited the likes of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to his squad.
