Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will launch a massive offer to sign Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann next summer.
The France international has been earmarked as a long-term replacement for veteran skipper Wayne Rooney.
The 25-year-old had been linked with a potential move to Arsenal in the transfer window despite inking a five-year contract at Atleti prior to Euro 2016.
Griezmann produced a number of scintillating performances for Les Bleus at the European championships, and this apparently caught the eye of the Gunners, who failed with an approach for his signature.
Bleacher Report claims that the 'Special One' is keeping a close eye on the Frenchman progress with a view to lodging a mega bid for his services at the end of the season.
Atleti are said to value Griezmann at £87m, which is still within United's range, given the £89m sum coughed up to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer.
Griezmann has notched 57 goals in 107 outings for Atleti since arriving from Real Sociedad in 2014.
