Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has urged Belgian international Michy Batshuayi to stay put at Stamford Bridge. The 22-year-old has been restricted of playing time since his switch from Marseille in the summer.
Batshuayi has yet to earn a Premier League start for the Blues this season with Conte preferring Diego Costa for the centre-forward role.
With competitive action primarily in the EFL Cup, there have been claims that the marksman could seek a fresh challenge in the New Year.
But, Conte feels that the player has all the credentials to develop into a top-class asset, and it is only a matter of time before he cements a regular place from the starting line-up.
Batshuayi has netted three goals for Chelsea this term with his highlight being a brace against Bristol Rovers in the second round of the League Cup.
