'New Zlatan' to snub Real Madrid for Dortmund switch

Real Madrid could reportedly face defeat in the pursuit of AIK striker Alexander Isak. The Swede has snubbed Los Blancos' approach in a bid to complete a move to Borussia Dortmund.

  • Chelsea winger suffers head injury vs Nottingham Forest
  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Zinedine Zidane's side have been tracking the youngster for some while, and it was previously suggested that they could land his services on an initial £10m deal in the summer.

However, according to The Guardian, BVB appear to have jumped the ship for the highly-rated striker, given Thomas Tuchel's willingness to promote youngsters into his starting lineup.

The Dortmund giants have offered the likes of Christian Pulisic, Ousmane Dembele, and Emre Mor a run with the first-team squad, and this has captured the attention of the AIK forward.

Isak, who has already netted 10 goals for the Swedish outfit this term, is often likened to Manchester United's ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
