Barcelona willing to discuss swap deal for Bellerin

03 May 2017 - 05:48

Spanish champions Barcelona will reportedly propose an exchange deal in their attempt to sign Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin in the summer.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • Bellerin, 22, is said to be the prime targets for the Catalan giants this summer as they seek to fill the void left by Dani Alves who left for Juventus last year.

The right-back has been watched on different occasions by Barca scouts this season, and they are prepared to step up the player's pursuit regardless of his contract situation.

Bellerin committed his future to Arsenal until 2023 earlier in the season, but his performances have since dipped with Arsene Wenger admitting that the player is still recovering from an ankle issue.

Spanish outlet Don Balon suggests that the Spaniard could be offered a dream comeback to Camp Nou this summer with the club willing to offer one of Arda Turan, Andre Gomes or Ivan Rakitic in a straight swap deal.

Arsenal are currently on the search for a new central midfielder, and this could urge them to discuss a potential deal with Barcelona in the summer.
