Real Madrid are prepared to offer Gareth Bale as makeweight in an ambitious attempt to sign Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard in the summer.
The Belgium international has been in sublime form for the west London giants, who have gone on to lift their fifth Premier League title this season.
Hazard has provided 15 goals and five assists in the Blues triumph this term, and his performances have apparently caught the eye of Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claims that the European champions could be willing to part ways with Bale in order to pursue the services of the former Lille man.
Bale has notched just nine goals in an injury-hit campaign and it is suggested that he could favour a return to London where he would earn a similar wage package as at the Bernabeu.
Hazard is currently valued at around £100m owing to his impressive form, and Los Blancos will look to lower the valuation by offering Bale in exchange.
In spite of the ongoing gossip, Hazard appears keen to stay put at Chelsea after he stated his desire to become the world's best player in the next 12 months.
