German giants Borussia Dortmund are hoping to recruit Ajax's Peter Bosz as their new manager after Thomas Tuchel was sacked earlier in the week.
Tuchel guided the Dortmund giants to their first silverware in more than five seasons, but it was not sufficient to keep his place following a rift with the club's hierarchy.
The Germany manager was unhappy with the club's transfer business last summer as they let go of their key players in the form of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan to their European rivals.
Meanwhile, Tuchel also had a problem with the recruiting process with one Alexander Isak being brought to the club without his knowledge.
Dortmund had suffered a suspected terror attack prior to the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Monaco, and Tuchel was livid seeing the match being postponed for just 24 hours.
According to The Sun, Bosz has been identified as a top candidate to take over the role after his impressive Ajax squad reached the final of the Europa League final - only to lose out to Manchester United.
Dortmund have encouraged the influence of youth in their starting lineup, and they feel that Bosz could be the ideal head coach to take the club forward next season.
