PSG make Pogba enquiry

Pogba has received criticism from many fans this season

PSG make Pogba enquiry

20 April 2018 - 07:11

Newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been in contact with super-agent Mino Raiola about a possible move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer, according to ESPN.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Pogba has been rumoured to be unsettled at Old Trafford after his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho appears to have deteriorated and some of his performances, some believe, have fallen short of his £90 million price tag.

That valuation is only expected to increase, however, as The Red Devils will look to receive a fee in the region of £140 million if they are to even consider letting the French international depart the club.

PSG were in the running to sign Pogba when he left Juventus, but he instead decided to have a second attempt at becoming a success with the English Premier League club.

Even if 25-year-old does decide to leave Manchester United, it is not certain that it will be for a move to the French capital. Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has spoken recently about how he has been in contact with a number of Europe's elite club to discuss any possibilities about agreeing to a deal.

In a recent press conference, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola claimed that his side were offered Paul Pogba in the January transfer window, which would have been a controversial deal in the North-West of England.

For now, Pogba's focuses must be on winning the FA Cup and securing second place in the Premier League, but it may not be a surprise if, on the opening day of next season, Paul Pogba is wearing the colours of a different club.
