Arsenal manager Unai Emery has dropped five players from the Gunners' 25-man squad which has travelled to Singapore for the International Champions Cup.
According to Evening Standard, Carl Jenkinson and Joel Campbell are among the high-profile players ignored for the tour alongside Chuba Akpom, Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Krystian Bielik.
Both Reine-Adelaide and Krystian Bielik are likely to be loaned out for the upcoming campaign while Jenkinson, Akpom and Campbell could be offloaded before next month's transfer deadline.
Meanwhile, Lucas Perez appears to have made a good impression on Emery since his return from Deportivo La Coruna and the Spaniard has earned his place in the travelling party to the Far East.
Arsenal have signed the likes of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi so this summer. Emery has recently hinted that the club may be tempted to make one more 'big signing' before the transfer window closes on August 9. x x x x
