Championship side Aston Villa are reportedly hopeful of luring Tammy Abraham from Chelsea before the loan window concludes this month.
The Villains were restrictive with their spending during the summer amid their financial issues but they have still made a strong start to the campaign with two wins and a draw in their opening three games.
According to The Birmingham Mail, Villains boss Steve Bruce is now keen to propel the club towards top-flight promotion and he has identified Abraham as the perfect fit for his frontline.
Despite this, the deal does not remain straightforward with the England international also attracting interest from clubs across the Netherlands and Italy.
Abraham is presently the third-choice striker behind Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud at Stamford Bridge after Maurizio Sarri decided to sanction Michy Batshuayi's exit to Valencia on a season-long loan.
He has spent the past two seasons on temporary deals with Swansea City and Bristol City respectively, contributing 34 goals in 90 appearances in all competitions
