Arsene Wenger has told his players to play without fear and play to win in the weekend's match with Chelsea. The Arsenal manager feels that they have the strength progress in the final stretch for both the Champions League and Premiership titles. Wenger also believes that Theo Walcott is now ready for the big stage, after Fabio Capello called him up for his second England squad.
"I don't think we have a problem with motivation.
"To progress now we are in the final sprint. That is the moment where the tactical observation is gone and you just try to win the game.
"I believe we are in a situation where the direct confrontations with the top three teams will have a direct influence on the championship. It's who can beat the direct opponents that will win it. That's what we want to achieve on Sunday."
Theo Walcott is ready
âHe is ready to make an impact. What I like in Theoâs career is that he started as an international before becoming a player in The Premier League, but he has slowly but quietly worked his way back.
âFor me he is on the way up and is really having an influence in training on a daily basis.â
