Real Madrid star Antonio Rudiger has heaped praise on William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes for their exceptional central defensive partnership at Arsenal.
The Gunners have been on the up for the past two seasons and part of the credit must go to Saliba and Gabriel, who have been brilliant in the heart of the defence.
When asked to pick the best three centre-backs, Rudiger mentioned the Gunners duo and spoke fondly about them, he said: "The transformation from Arsenal that was a bit before and now – those two are the pillars of it.
"You have Gabriel the aggressive leader, and Saliba – this brother plays clean! You have to give it to him, he looks like a silent leader."
Arsenal have been brilliant in the Premier League for the past two seasons. They have come on the cusp of winning the title against Manchester City.
The Gunners will be aiming to go all the way this time around. The club are currently third in the standings, one point behind table-toppers Liverpool.
