Arsenal striker Kai Havertz has suffered a hamstring injury ahead of the Premier League clash against Leicester City on the road this weekend.
The Gunners have had bad luck with injury concerns and they are already without the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli.
The club have now sustained another setback. Havertz picked up a hamstring injury scare during the dubai training camp earlier this week.
A full diagnosis is still pending, but reports claim that he could be sidelined for the upcoming game against the Foxes at the very least.
Havertz's absence is a huge blow for the Gunners and manager Mikel Arteta will have to find a new solution to lead the attack on Saturday.
Leandro Trossard has played as the false number nine in the past. He could be deployed in a similar position against the Foxes this weekend.
Ethan Nwaneri could be another option for the role. Arteta previously talked up the prospect of playing the teenager in the no.9 role.
