It is understood that Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has made a huge £40 million offer for Chile international winger Alexis Sanchez. According to reports, his move to Barcelona has frozen and now Manchester City have trumped their offer with a huge offer.
After an impressive season in Serie A last year - scoring 12 goals in 27 games - Barcelona made their interest public and told the press they would make a move.
However, Barca's financial problems have scuppered the move; now Man City are prepared to hijack a deal with a new £40 million offer.
