Wilshere wants new Arsenal signings
Jack Wilshere is concerned that Arsenal do not have the strength in depth to compete at the very top of the Premier League in the coming season. The Arsenal midfielder is worried that Man City may have the edge on the Gunners in the coming season.
Arsenal have already signed Gervinho this year, and have been linked with a number of other names this season already.
However, Arsene Wenger is also believed to be readying the departure of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.
Wilshere said: "We are not a spending club but we still managed to stay up there with the top teams. And we have to win things this year.
"Maybe if we had a few more faces we could really push on. If we get a few more players we can really challenge for the title.
"Around March and April we have to stay really strong. We are confident we can be up and around it then so we have to remain strong at that crucial time."
