Tottenham weigh up Anelka move?

Tottenham may make a move for Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is encouraging Redknapp to find a new target man, and Anelka has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

According to reports, Anelka is not happy with life on the bench at Stamford Bridge.

The arrival of Fernando Torres has seen first team opportunities limited at Chelsea; with Didier Drogba preferred to the Frenchman.

It is understood that Tottenham will offer around 7m GBP to bring Anelka to the club.

However, Andre VIllas-Boas is keen to hang on to Anelka and will reject all offers until his 9m GBP valuation is met.
