Aston Villa poised to land Alan Hutton

Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish looks set to complete a move for out of favour Tottenham defender Alan Hutton before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday.

According to reports, Hutton has already been up to Birmingham to discuss personal terms with the Villains, and is now just waiting for the two clubs to agree a fee.

Hutton has not yet made an appearance for Tottenham this year.
