Ferguson hits out at Ashley Cole tackle
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has questioned the referee after Ashley Cole's horror challenge on Javier Hernandez during Man Utd's 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The left back's nasty looking challenge on the Mexican forward meant that he had to come off and replaced by Dimitar Berbatov.
However, whilst Sir Alex Ferguson sweats on the fitness of Hernandez, the United boss admitted that he was disappointed with the challenge from Cole: "The referee booked him, so I don't understand why he hasn't given a penalty.
"Ashley Cole is very reckless at times. He is committed of course but being committed you can sometimes go over the edge a bit. That was an example of that."
