Arsenal Target Sow and Gourcuff
French sources claim that Arsene Wenger will dip into the transfer market in January and has identified Yoann Gourcuff and Moussa Sow as his main transfer targets.
Gourcuff has had a relatively quiet spell at Lyon and seems to be keen on a move to England. Wenger is interested in securing him on loan in January, but the chances of that are slim. The French international is valued at £20 million and a permanent transfer in summer is more likely.
Arsenal are also eyeing Gervinho's former teammate Moussa Sow as a replacement for Maroune Chamakh.
Sow was the top scorer in the Ligue 1 last year and formed a formidable partnership with Gervinho up front. His arrival would finally bring Wenger the out-and-out striker he has been looking for after the departure of Emmanuel Adebayor.
