Liverpool to move for Adam Johnson
Liverpool are looking to sign Manchester City winger Adam Johnson in January after reports emerged that the player is unhappy with his lack of playing time at the Etihad Stadium.
Johnson signed for City from Middlesbrough in 2010 and was an integral part of the squad last year, making over 40 appearances. However with the purchase of Samir Nasri from Arsenal, a guaranteed starting XI spot looks unlikely.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish wants to add a few more options on both flanks, as neither Dirk Kuyt nor Jordan Henderson are true wingers.
However, Johnson will not come cheap as his club value the 24-year-old at around £18 million.
