Man United to bid for Angel Di Maria

Manchester United have been linked to a shock move for Real Madrid's Argentine winger, Angel Di Maria.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is known to be a long time admirer of the player and has followed him since his days at Benfica.

With Ryan Giggs nearing the end of his career, Ferguson believes that Di Maria is the right man to replace the Welsh stalwart.

Although an established member of the Real Madrid first team, Madrid may think of selling if a hefty offer over £25 million comes in.
