Liverpool could hijack Adebayor move
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish could hijack a move for on-loan Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor. The Togo international is free to leave Man City at the end of the season for a cut price 15m GBP.
However, Tottenham have recently admitted that Adebayor's huge 145,000 GBP per week salary is a stumbling block for the London club, and that the former Arsenal striker may have to leave Spurs at the end of the season permanently as they cannot afford to take on the financial burden.
Now it appears that Kenny Dalglish is on high alert and wants to bring Adebayor back to the North of England as a partner for Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.
Man City are open to offers as soon as the January transfer window, with a view to a permanent transfer to be completed next summer.
