Sunderland to sign Arsenal keeper Vito Mannone
Sunderland have agreed a deal that will see Italian goalkeeper Vito Mannone join the Black Cats this summer. Arsenal's third choice goalkeeper has been lined up as a possible replacement for Simon Mignolet.
A fee of £3 million has been agreed with Sunderland for the sale of Mannone, and Arsenal have given the player permission to travel to meet Paolo Di Canio.
Mannone has just one year left on his contract with Arsene Wenger's side, and is looking to move elsewhere now that he is 25 years old and eager for more first team football.
Mannone has been with Arsenal for 8 years and has played in just 15 games.
