Oscar Cardozo attracts Premier League interest
Benfica and Paraguay international forward Oscar Cardozo has plenty of options should he wish to leave Portugal. It has been reported that Cardozo's agent has been in contact with a number of Premier League clubs.
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is a huge fan of the burly forward and is currently looking for a replacement for Carlos Tevez, who joined Juventus last week. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho is also eager to find a new striker for Chelsea, but is known to favour younger players. Cardozo is currently aged 30. Should Liverpool sell Luis Suarez, they could also be interested in the Benfica frontman.
"Benfica knows the situation and now the subject is in their hands," said the player's agent Pedro Aldave.
"There has always been interest from Premier League but now this is real interest."
