Heurelho Gomes not leaving Tottenham for PSV
Heurelho Gomes has no plans to swap Tottenham for a move to his former club PSV Eindhoven. The Brazilian keeper is rumoured to have been linked with a move back to the Netherlands.
Gomes is currently third choice goalkeeper at White Hart Lane, behind Hugo Lloris and Brad Friedel. The Brazilian shotstopper is no longer needed at Spurs and Andre Villas-Boas has told the keeper he is free to leave the club.
Despite that, Alex Soares, the player's agent has shed no light as to Gomes' next destination: "Heurelho is a Tottenham player and he is under contract.
"I can confirm that we have not received any official offer or contact from PSV in relation to Heurelho's return.
"Maybe the rumours around his move to PSV is due to his previous years at the club and the PSV fans' wishes.
"I am sure that if PSV want him back, Gomes' decision will be very easy to take."
