Manchester United To Place Third Bid For Cesc Fabregas

David Moyes’ pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas is still not over. The manager has decided to give one last push to lure his prime summer target to the Old Trafford.

It has been reported by the Daily Mail, that Manchester United are all set to submit the third and what could be believed as the final bid for Cesc Fabregas. The ambitious bid reportedly in the region of £35million will easily smash the club’s previous record of £30.8million, which they spent to bring Dimitar Berbatov from Spurs in 2008.

Moyes is still looking to make a senior signing this summer and he intends to reunite Robin van Persie with his former Arsenal teammate Fabregas.

Barcelona are adamant on not selling the former Arsenal captain to the Premier League outfit, as they have already rejected previous bids from the Old Trafford. The La Liga champions have made it clear that Fabregas is not for sale this season but the third bid from United could be a real test for them as well as Fabregas himself.

The midfielder has reserved his statements about the speculations but his teammates are convinced that the deal will fall through. New coach Gerardo Martino said,

“I’m not going to involve myself in the club’s accounts, but considering the club has already rejected two offers, I would guess it will reject a third. In other words he will remain here.”
