Arsenal to dish out £25m for Swansea sensation Michu?

According to The Mirror, Swansea City are preparing to slap a £25m price tag on their Spanish sensation Miguel Pérez Cuesta , after reported interest from the Gunners.

The North London outfit are looking at the possibility of acquiring the signature of the talented Spaniard as their bid for Liverpool forward Luis Suarez looks to be in the dump. 


However, it is reported that the Welsh outfit would set an asking price of £25m for Michu, who was bought at a bargain of just £2m from La Liga side Raye Vallecano last summer.  

The signing of the make-shift forward could be a major step towards trophy revival for manager Arsene Wenger, as his team were booed off the ground by the fans after an unimpressive display against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium yesterday.

Michu scored an impressive 22 goals for the Swans last season, as he guided the Premier League minnows to triumph in the Capital One cup.
