Demba Ba set for Arsenal loan move?
Arsenal have reportedly agreed a loan deal for Chelsea's out of favour striker Demba Ba. The Senegalese international has been told he can leave his current club for pastures new if another team pay his reported £100,000 a week salary.
The Chelsea frontman is no longer first choice at Stamford Bridge, with manager Jose Mourinho preferring both Romelu Lukaku and Fernando Torres ahead of Ba. Chelsea representatives agreed to a loan deal with Arsenal yesterday evening, according to a report from France Football.
The Gunners are currently short in the striking department with German international Lukas Podolski out for at least 10 weeks through hamstring injury and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hoping to bring Ba to the Emirates for a short term three month loan deal as cover for his squad.
