Demba Ba set to sign for Valencia?

Demba Ba's playing career with Chelsea looks likely to come to an end in the January transfer window.

The highly-talented Senegalese forward has failed to replicate the form he showed during his time with the Magpies, and has been pecked down the order by Blues manager Jose Mourinho who has prefered Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o as his main strike partnership this season.

Latest reports across England suggest that Ba could be set for a switch to La Liga with Valencia for a rumoured fee of £7m.


Valencia are keen on bolstering their own strikeforce, and Ba is considered the perfect option mainly due to his impressive goalscoring record from his time with Hoffenheim, West Ham and Newcastle.
