The Olympiacos defender has been eyed upon by a number of Premier League clubs in the past month, but the Toons are considered favourites to clinch the player's signature in January, as manager Pardew is keen on continuing on the club's great form this season, which currently involves a winning streak of 4 games.
22-year-old Manolas, is regarded as a potential replacement for outbound Fabio Coloccini.
