Liverpool transfer target Danny Ings wanted by Celtic

Celtic boss Neil Lennon had sent scouts to watch the England Under-21 International in action last weekend.

The inform Burnley striker is hot property at the moment with many clubs including second-place Liverpool looking to reinforce their ranks after Daniel Sturridge's injury.


However, Celtic manager is keen to sign Danny Ings and sees the young striker from Burnley as a starter for Celtic for the rest of the season. With a promising start for the Glaswegian club this year, the club looks to bid for their domestic and European competitions. 


Starting place for the 21-year-old will be important and that will be the prerequisite considering Liverpool already boast the likes of Luis Suarez who has been on top form this season.
