Napoli make Daniel Agger loan enquiry
Italian giants Napoli have apparently made an enquiry with Liverpool over taking Danish defender Daniel Agger to Naples on a temporary basis for the rest of the season.
The talented centre-back has failed to feature regularly for the Reds this season, having been plagued by injuries. With the likes of Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho in good form for the Merseyside club, it looks unlikely for the Dane to return to the first-team on a permanent role.
According to The Times, former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez have made an offer to sign the Dane on loan in January, but the Reds are likely to reject it considering their lack of top quality back-up options incase of an injury.
Daniel Agger joined Liverpool in 2006 for a fee of £5.8m from Brondby under former manager Rafael Benitez.
