Man City rebuff Valencia's £15m offer for Edin Dzeko

Manchester City have reportedly turned down a £15m January transfer bid from La Liga outfit Valencia for Bosnian International Edin Dzeko.

The talented Citizens forward has failed to cement his place under Manuel Pellegrini this season, following the arrival of Alvaro Negredo from Sevilla during the summer, and this has made Spanish club Valencia make a £15m bid for the player's services in the winter transfer window.


Manchester City are understood to have rejected the transfer offer as manager Manuel Pellegrini considers Edin Dzeko as a useful replacement for star striker Sergio Aguero who is currently sidelined with a calf injury.


Edin Dzeko has made just six Premier League starts for the Citizens this season.
