West Ham monitoring Carl Jenkinson

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is preparing a surprise summer move for Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson.The defender has played second fiddle to Bacary Sagna at full back this year and the Gunners are considering a loan deal away for the Englishman.

According to several reports, a frustrated Jenkinson is hoping a move to another top league club will improve his chances of international recognition. It is not yet understood whether or not West Ham have ambitions to sign Jenkinson on a permanent deal.
