Arsenal, Chelsea in race for Bayern star

Mario Mandzukic could be heading through the Bayern exit door having seen his agent have talks over a transfer to either Arsenal or Chelsea in the summer.

The Croatian international has been in fine form for the Bavarian outfit havig scored 21 goals up to now, but the arrival of Robert Lewandowski in the summer, could cut out his chances in the first-team for the next campaign.

 

Adding to that, Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is open to the sale of the 27-year-old, should the club receive the right offer.

 

Mandzukic has been linked with a host of other clubs including the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United, but latest reports reveal that Arsenal or Chelsea could be the player's next destination.

 

The London duo would have to make a bid in the region of £25m to secure the services of the talented striker come the end of the season.
