Chelsea interested in Real Sociedad playmaker

Chelsea are understood to be readying a summer transfer offer Real Sociedad midfield sensation Antonine Griezmann.

According to The Daily Mail, the 23-year-old who has been linked with a summer switch to either Arsenal or Manchester United in recent weeks, could be trumped by league rivals Chelsea.

 

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be keen on offloading a number of big names including the likes of Fernando Torres, David Luiz and Demba Ba in the summer, as the club aim to accumulate sufficient funds for a transfer spree at the end of the season.

 

Griezmann has been in top form for Sociedad all season and has notched up 15 goals in 35 appearances up to now.
