Newcastle to win race for Emmanuel Riviere
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew will be delighted to hear that he appears to have won the race to sign Monaco forward Emmauel Riviere; beating West Brom and Tottenham to the striker's signature.
The 24-year-old will arrive at St James' Park for talks at some point in the next few days once the Toon Army have sold Mathieu Debuchy to Arsenal to ensure the funds are available to wrap up a move for Riviere.
Newcastle are expected to continue their busy transfer window well into the summer and have already tabled bids for Dutch international Daryl Janmaat and Norwich City defender Leroy Fer.
Riviere is reportedly available for a fee of around 12 million Euros.
