Arsenal unwilling to accept Loic Remy's wage demands
Arsenal have reportedly refused to accept to Queen Park Rangers striker Loic Remy's wage demands, The People reports.
The 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan with Newcastle United, is believed to be a main transfer target for manager Arsene Wenger this summer, as he plans to strengthen the club's strike front.
According to The People, the Gunners have agreed on a £10m fee with the Hoops for the France international, but the transfer could be scuppered by Remy's refusal to take a pay-cut from his current weekly wage structure of £80,000.
The Gunners have already bolstered their attacking department for the next season, by signing Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona earlier this month.
