Kolo Toure to swap Liverpool for Turkey move?
Turkish side Trabzonspor are preparing a move for Ivory Coast international defender Kolo Toure. The centre back is set to depart Anfield for pastures new after being declared surplus to requirements by manager Brendan Rodgers.
The former Arsenal and Man City centre back is wanted by Trabzonspor and the club are confident a deal can be completed before the end of July.
The 33-year-old has a year remaining on his deal at Anfield and Liverpool are to strike a deal with Southampton to sign Dejan Lovren in the coming weeks, thus leaving Toure unlikely to play much first team action in the upcoming season.
American side New York Red Bulls were also showing some interest but the player would prefer a move to Turkey.
