Morata has arrived in Italy to complete a medical ahead of his potential switch to the Serie A champions.

Morata's transfer has reportedly cost €18 million, with Madrid including a buyback option in the player's contract.

Morata made 23 appearances for Los Blancos last season, scoring 8 goals, but made just 3 starts in that time.

The 21-year-old made 10 starts for the Spain U-19 squad and 12 starts for the Spain U-21 team in his international career, and is widely considered to be one of the most promising young Spanish attackers.

"I am very happy to be here. I will have my medical tomorrow and can't wait to start my new adventure," he told Sky Sport Italia on his arrival.

Opportunities have been hard to come by for Morata last season with Madrid stars Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo given first-team opportunities. Madrid is also reportedly also closing on a move for Colombian World Cup star James Rodriguez and Madrid are busy arranging funds for him.

Juventus posted a picture of the player wearing the club scarf on their official Twitter account.
