Spurs agree deal for Sporting defender
Tottenham Hotspur have apparently struck a deal with Sporting Lisbon for the services of centre-back Eric Dier this summer.
The new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been keen on strengthening the club's defensive department this summer, as he aims to take the club to the next level and challenge for a Champions League qualification spot next season.
Latest reports reveal that the North London club have agreed a fee of around £4m and and will sign the 20-year-old on a five-year deal, subject to medical clearance.
Dier will become Pochettino's third signing of the summer, following the arrival of Swansea City pair Ben Davies and Michel Vorm at White Hart Lane.
