Fraser Forster to complete Southampton transfer

Fraser Forster will move to Ronald Koeman's Southampton this weekend and wrap up a 10 million pounds deal from Celtic to the St Mary's side. According to reports, Forster will sign a five year contract.

Southampton, who have sold several high profile players this summer, had hoped to sign a new goalkeeper in time for the upcoming season. With uncertainty over the long term future of last season's first choice shot stopper Artur Boruc, Koeman had made the signing of a new keeper his top priority.

Forster will earn a reported 60,000 pounds a week on the new contract and will be hoping that regular Premier League first team football will improve his chances of forcing his way into the starting XI for England ahead of Joe Hart.
