Man Utd interested in French sensation

Manchester United have been linked with a summer move for one of France's finest young talents, according to TalkSPORT.

The Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is understood to be keen on strengthening the back four before the transfer deadline, and is lining up a number of targets to fulfill the required roles.

Real Madrid centre-back Rafael Varane is believed to have caught the attention of van Gaal, and TalkSPORT suggests that an offer could be made for the player's services this summer.

Varane's chances of featuring at the Bernabeu are likely to be limited, with manager Carlo Ancelloti content in having Pepe and Sergio Ramos as his preferred central defensive partnership.
